Awards at IPITEx 2026

Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx) 2026

The Faculty of Chemical Engineering, UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, made history when 10 students of the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Environmental), mentored by Ts. Syazwan Osman, presented their creativity at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation & Technology (IPITEX) 2026 competition, held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok, Thailand, from 5 to 9 January 2026.

They entered 4 projects, and 2 of them were selected for presentation for the Special Award judging.

The projects and their researchers and inventors were:

Achievement

The UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang student innovation team, represented by 10 chemical engineering students, won 1 gold award and 3 silver awards, a 100% medal achievement.
